What we collect on this site

We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which gives us anonymous totals (pages viewed, referrers, countries). It does not use cookies and does not track you across sites. There are no ads and no tracking pixels on IndieMarkdowns.

The deal-alert newsletter is run on Beehiiv. If you sign up on Beehiiv's page, Beehiiv stores your email address so we can send the alerts. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can unsubscribe any time.

Affiliate links

Some links are affiliate links: if you buy through one, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. They are labeled next to the link. Paid placements are labeled "Sponsored". See how sponsorship works.

Makers we contact

We contact makers at the public business email listed on their website about their deal listing. Each email says why they're getting it. A maker can reply "no thanks" to stop further emails, or "remove" to take the listing down.

Deals you submit

If you submit a deal or correction, we use what you send only to review and publish the listing.

Other sites

Deal pages link to makers' sites and public sources. Those sites have their own privacy policies.
